Apple
today released the second iOS 9.2 beta for iPhone, iPad, and iPod
touch to registered developers. iOS 9.2 beta 2 follows the initial
iOS 9.2 beta release just one week ago. The update is available over-the-air
through the Settings app for developers already testing the release. The prior
release contained few changes including extension support on Safari View
Controller. The release notes only highlight bug fixes and improvements.

stereos has been fixed.

Not
a lot is known about the exact changes in iOS 9.2. It's likely to contain a
number of bug fixes and improvements to the base iOS experience on both iPhone
and iPad.
Its release comes just
one week after the first developer beta of iOS 9.2 was issued. The
most notable change in iOS 9.2 revealed by Apple is a change to how the Safari
Web browser works in third-party apps, enabling user-installed extensions to
operate in those conditions.
An initial public beta of iOS 9.2 was also released last week, on
Thursday. It's likely that a second iOS 9.2 public beta will debut this week.
iOS
9.2 beta 2 arrives as build 13C5060d while tvOS 9.1 beta 1 arrives as build
13U5061d. iOS 9.2 is compatible with all devices capable of running iOS 9,
whereas tv OS 9.1 is only compatible with the newest Apple TV.
The
only change that has been noticed, so far, is the way the Safari Control Viewer
works within some apps.
Members
of the public beta program should also be able to download the new version of
iOS 9.2 soon.
We
will let you know if we find any major improvements in the software.
